Arthur Knipping specialises in the broad field of employment law. He advises on employment contracts and management agreements, reorganisations and (collective) dismissals, governance and works council matters, and employment-law aspects of transactions, including outsourcing and transfers of undertaking. He also regularly litigates in employment disputes and has experience with disciplinary proceedings in the financial sector, including cases before the Banking Disciplinary Committee (Stichting Tuchtrecht Banken).
Arthur is known for his clear analyses and solution-oriented approach. Clients value his ability to quickly bring structure to complex situations and to provide advice that is both legally sound and practically workable.
He began his legal career at Van Doorne and Loeff Claeys Verbeke (later Allen & Overy) in Amsterdam and Brussels. He then spent eight years as an entrepreneur in the renewable energy sector. This combination of legal expertise and entrepreneurial experience gives him a sharp insight into the strategic, organisational and commercial interests involved in employment-law matters.
From 2016, Arthur was a partner at VESPER Advocaten, where he played a central role in developing the employment law practice. As of 2026, he is a partner at LYND Advocaten.
Arthur is registered in the practice area register of the Dutch Bar Association for Employment Law.
