Marieke van der Holst specialises in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and general corporate and contract law. She is known for her solution-oriented approach and practical, hands-on way of working.
Marieke has a strong ability to structure and effectively manage complex transaction processes. With her sharp insight, energy and commitment, she plays a central and connecting role within any deal team.
Marieke began her career at Allen & Overy (now A&O Shearman), where she worked for ten years as an M&A lawyer. During this period, she advised on a wide range of often high-profile transactions, giving her an exceptional understanding of deal dynamics and pace. This experience enables her to bring transactions to a successful conclusion in a pragmatic, careful and goal-oriented manner. She subsequently became a partner at VESPER Advocaten and, as of 2026, at LYND Advocaten.
Marieke is registered in the practice area register of the Dutch Bar Association for Corporate Law.
